1.
Sir Don Bradman:
The Australian legend Bradman is known as the greatest
batsmen in cricket of all time and will always remain greatest because he
has achieved the records that are beyond the reach of other batsmen. Despite
playing just 52 matches in his career he produced such miracles in cricket and
crossed big milestones which no other batsmen can think even playing 100-200
matches as well. All-time greatest talking issue in cricket "Bradman's dismissal
without scoring a run in final test match of his career" that splatted him
from making his enormous mark average of 99.94 to 100.In each 3 innings he
always scored a century. He is one of the three great players in test who has
scored 2 triple centuries in test matches. Despite of having great average and
impressive performances Bradman lags behind Tendulkar in the list of greatest
batsman because the contribution and the records of Master blaster are way
more than Bradman's career.
2.
Sir Garfield Sobers:
The first player in international cricket to hot six sixes
in an over, the Caribbean legend Garfield is world widely known as the best all-rounder
of all time. He is the player who for the 1st time make a record mark score of
365 in test cricket that was overtaken by his own native Brian Lara, another Caribbean
legend. So this great legend is voted Wisden cricketer of the century.
3.
Javed Miandad:
Having scored 163 on his Test debut, he subsequently became the youngest Test double centurion in the same series. Later in his career, he not only scored centuries in his 50th and 100th Test matches, but also in his 50th and 100th Test innings. He marked the 1,000th Test Match ever played against New Zealand in 1984 by scoring a century in each innings. Javed Miandad is the only cricketer to appear in six World Cup competitions and his record of nine consecutive One Day International fifties still stands. He will also never be forgotten due to his last ball six against India that reshaped India Pakistan cricket.
4.
Brian Lara:
Brian Lara is the Caribbean classic legend and one of the
best batsmen in the world. Who could forget his everlasting and record-breaking
innings of 400* in 2004 against England that wrote the history in test matches.
He is also the first West Indian batsmen to score more than 10000 runs in test
matches. Called by the nickname of Prince of Trinidad Lara is the master class
left handed batsmen.
5.
Sachin Tendulkar:
Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, famous Indian legendary cricket
batsman who will remain in the record books of cricket as there are many
records he has made or broken. In batting he holds every record of most runs, most
centuries and highest score. His consistent performance and calm and cool batting
attitude was unique. Doesn’t matter if India lost most of the games in which he
was the top scorer but it was definitely not his fault.
6.
Rickey Ponting:
Another Australian legend and greatest Australian Captain
ever is 3rd in the list of greatest batsmen ever. Ponting is the
greatest Australian Captain as he has won two world cup titles for Australia
and made Australia the superpower in the cricket. He along with his team ruled
over cricket for a decade. If there is anyone chasing the master blaster Sachin
in cricket is only Ponting. So this legendary Australian captain Ricky Ponting
deserves 3rd ranking in the list of greatest batsmen of all time.
7.
Hashim Amla:
outh Africa have had a number of truly exceptional
players since their return to international cricket. Blessed with Asian wrists
and South African grit, Hashim Amla is today among the top batsmen in the
world. Since his ODI debut in 2008, Amla has scored 4,264 runs in 87
matches at an average of 54.66 and a strike rate of over 90. Amla is an
integral part of this young South African side — his value in the side is
perhaps matched only by AB de Villiers — in both ODIs and Tests. He has the
ability to play every shot in the book from the cover drive to the flick; the
sweep to the slog. What really stands out about him is his follow-through;
there usually is none. Such is the power in his wrists and the timing he
possesses, that he rarely needs to use any muscle to send the ball to all ends
of the ground.

Inzamam-ul-Haq:
Emotional moment when Inzy left the Cricket after 15 years. |
When it comes to classic run-outs, massive sixes and bulky
strokes, only one name is associated to these cricketing traits and that is of
Inzamam-ul-Haq. A man with a dominating presence and cricketing instinct to die
for, Inzy as he was fondly known, was one of the best in business. With a
magical willow and thumping effect, Inzamam scored at a prolific rate all
throughout his career. Be it against the fast bowlers or against a spin attack,
Inzamam was gifted with amazing footwork and placement skills. His 329 against
the New Zealanders is rated as one of the best Test innings played by a
cricketer. However, the sleeping giant got caught in a rough run with his
willow, but he did not count himself out and made a massive comeback into
international cricket scoring an unbeaten 138 against Bangladesh in Multan,
soon after the poor run in the 2003 cricket World cup.
Recognized for his composure, Inzamam was sure to lead his nation some day and so he did. Who can forget the match against England, where Inzy and his Men forfeited the Test after umpire Darrell Hair docked five runs for ball tampering. When Pakistan was eliminated from the 2007 World Cup, followed by the mysterious death of Coach Bob Woolmer, Inzamam announced his retirement from international cricket in 2007. One of the greatest batsmen churned by Pakistan, Inzy fell agonisingly two short of Javed Miandad's record for the highest Test aggregate by a Pakistan batsman. Record shows that most of his high scores were match winning scores for Pakistan.

former Australian captain still holding the record of most consecutive appearances
in test matches-153 matches. He is also one of the few batsmen to score more than
10000 runs in test cricket. Under his command Australia won their first world
cup title in 1987.So this Australian legend is also one of the greatest batsmen
